With three new hires in recent months, the Garden Media Group is expanding client services and opening new doors within the home and garden sector.
Each new hire brings an original voice and creative energy to the team, generating more results for clients.
Meet the three new members of the Garden Media Group below!
Joining the team in March, Kate Manchester brings 20 years of entrepreneurial experience to her new role as account executive. As the founding publisher of edible Santa Fe, a quarterly print publication celebrating the abundance of local foods, Manchester offers firsthand knowledge of the relationship between food and gardening.
Manchester began her career working for Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa, and was a celebrity chef for many years. She authored two books, The Perfect Wedding Cake and Sweet Celebrations, launched a cooking school, created the Edible Radio podcast series and co-founded Delicious New Mexico.
“Kate’s vast experience as an author, chef and publisher brings an unparalleled skill set to our team that is taking our clients and our business to new heights,” says Susan McCoy, president of the public relations and marketing firm. “Her passion for gardening, writing and cooking helps us add more food, health, lifestyle and home clients to the roster.”
Megan Hostetter joined Garden Media as a full-time Account Executive in May. A recent graduate of Millersville University, she holds a B.A. in Public Relations and a minor in Business Management. Hostetter recently completed a highly selective internship at Spike T.V. in New York City, where she quickly “discovered that public relations is the perfect synthesis of the science of business and the art of communication.”
McCoy notes, “Megan innately understands our clients’ needs and is able to provide innovative, digital platforms and initiatives to build brands. She regularly surprises and delights our clients.”
Emma Fitzpatrick, the most recent addition to the team, is no stranger to Garden Media. She completed a GMG internship in the fall and made such an impression, she was asked to join the team as an assistant account executive after she graduated from The Honors College of West Chester University. Fitzpatrick received her degree in English and minored in Communication Studies.
Fitzpatrick, an Account Executive, has quickly proven to be an integral asset to the GMG team. “Emma has a fabulous work ethic and consistently exceeds expectations,” states McCoy, “She is a talented and skillful writer, which is evident in our weekly marketing and PR blog posts on grow.gardenmediagroup.com.”
“From a seasoned professional to two recent college graduates, these three new hires bring passion and creativity to Garden Media and shine in their desire to exceed client expectations,” says McCoy. “Our awesome team is going to continue to rock the lawn and garden world.”
