Facebook users are always up in arms when it comes to changes on Facebook, but one change I will forever love is the cover photo.

The picture is humongous with high resolution and is the perfect chance to showcase just your business who is.

Your cover photo is the first thing fans and passersby will see when they meander to your page. It has the ability to make users like you, or to have them glaze over you and your garden industry page.

Individuality is at the forefront of your Facebook page with the cover photo, but your business can always, always do better.

Strive to innovate, and lead the pack! Dazzle up your Facebook cover photo with these quick, easy, and beautiful transformative tips!

Capture Your Brand

We all have those three words that encapsulate our business’s culture and brand. Open up your Facebook page, and see if your cover photo showcases all three of those words. If not, you’re missing a major branding opportunity.

Ensure your cover photo reflects your company’s culture because if it doesn’t, what’s the point?

Change with the Seasons

Cover photos are not a forever commitment. Your business should change it up about once a month, or at the very least, every other. Your Facebook fans should be engaged with your content, and changing it often allows them the perfect opportunity to interact with your page.

We’re big fans of seasonal cover photos as well as changes for the holidays or big events. Basically, any event or day that relates to your business-- We live up Houseplant Appreciation Day at GMG-- should be displayed front and center with your cover photo. Right now, we're celebraing National Bird Feeding Month!

Put Your Fan Foot Forward

Remember, Facebook isn't for you; all social media sites are ultimately for your fans. That being said, one of the best ways to have fans return to your Facebook page on the daily is to honor, interact, and show your appreciation for them.

One of the easiest and most gratifying ways to do this is to put a Facebook fan's photo as your cover photo. Best Amaryllis bulb picture anyone?

Celebrate Your New Groove

Again, if you want to get the word out about a new product, client, event, or new hire, cover photo it! Your many followers simply cannot miss the large, graphic display, which means they'll be on the look-out for the new item.

Be sure to follow through with this on all of your social media sites. If you're going all out for a new product, go all out!

Up Your Client Cred

Slap a smiling face on your cover photo with a awe-inspiring quote, and voila. Showing your satisfied clients and customers will let perspectives know just how much joy your business can deliver. Plus, an actual quote from a client will up your credibility. You've got real results, so show them off!
